1. What Does Section 11A Mandate?
Section 11A mandates that every establishment employing 50 or more employees (male or female, permanent or contractual) MUST provide crèche facilities within 500 meters of the office premises or via designated near-site consortiums.
Crèche Visits Allowed
The employer must allow 4 visits per day to the crèche facility, including rest intervals.
Mandatory Information at Joining
Every establishment must inform female employees in writing about crèche benefits upon recruitment.
